Can sleep contribute to weight loss?
Sleep is essential for losing weight, our health and general well-being. I dream of rejuvenate our immune system, nervous system, and all of the physical body. It also helps to repair and the growth of muscle and other cells in the body. During this period of rest, the human consciousness is absent.
It is very important that we have a good night's sleep every night. This fact is valid if we exercise every day or not.
I believe that we need a minimum of at least seven to eight hours of sleep each day. If one does not have enough sleep every night then the mind and the body are obliged to be affected in a negative way.
For a period of time that a person does not get the sleep you need him or her, they begin to accumulate what sometimes is called sleep debt. Sleep debt is also known as the sleep deprivation.
Sleep debt is the result of lack of sleep for a long period of time and finally the person becomes more tired than usual on a daily basis. Symptoms of depriving their own be show sleep both mentally and physically.
Mental symptoms include; irritability, moodiness, inaccurate thinking, confusion, hallucinations, memory loss, inability to concentrate, increased tendency to think negatively.
Physical symptoms may appear such as; headaches, tremors of hand, muscle aches and pain, developed bags under the eyes, yawning, weight gain, weight loss, increased sensitivity to hot and cold temperatures, increased blood pressure, increased stress.
This is not a list of all the symptoms of lack of sleep, but they are a lot. Deprive your self of sleep means to increase your level of stress both mentally and physically. And stress in general it is not good for a person to lose some luggage extra.
When you sleep, it is important to be comfortable. If necessary, keep any TV or noise maker (technology) out of the room as it can have an effect on sleep. Sleep in a room with the lights off. Any distraction can take your mind away from adequate rest.
Sleep and metabolism
Your metabolism is not stopped when you sleep. In fact, it slows down slightly but remains active to process any food in your system. There is an old adage that says that "all the work and not play a boring guy makes jack".
It is true. To maintain one healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically, also needs rest. Relaxation is not only to sleep or take time to sit and relax, but for doing something you enjoy.
Whether it be a hobby such as construction of scale models of aircraft or reading a book to your liking. Relaxation is like sleeping in the fact that helps rejuvenate your overall well-being.
When you wake up, eat, go to work and then taking time to exercise should be followed by game and relaxation - every day.
It is insufficient to give the excuse that "you don't have time" or "I can do it".
Not too much and not too little, but enough.
Find a good balance of relaxation and sleep. 4 Questions that you should give some serious thought to are the following:
Do you like to do? do you like read or write? do you like playing a musical instrument? would like to start a business?
Whatever it is, make time for it.
Another way to experience the relaxation is sitting in a comfortable chair, where is acceptable and sit quietly. Some call it meditation and others call it a few minutes of peace.
Give a rest to your mind and your body also will rest! Seize this moment to sit or lie down and keep a clear mind. Do not keep thinking about what you have to do more evening or the next day or week; Just clear your mind away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and breathe.
